「上、木綿の糸で大天使ラファエルの服のパターンが作られボンドでそれをボディにつなぐ」
これは「生命の木と葉っぱと枝からの場面」作品シリーズ制作の説明でパート四です。前回、綿のファイバとボンドの混ざりで作った材料でのモデリングを説明しました。それぞれの部分のモデリングが終わったら壁につる作品四点のパッツを枝と葉っぱにつないで組み立てます。針金や木綿、ボンドと木綿のファイバの混ざりなどを使ってつなぎます。それぞれの部分は棚に置きながら、かわかしました。その後、下の写真で見れるように塗り合わせたところを糸をまき、きれいにしあげます。さらに葉っぱのまわりも糸のパターンなどで仕上げます。最後にこの「葉っぱ」の中のほうも様々なパータンで仕上げ、あとはリクイテックスのニースを塗り、完成します。
This is the continuation of posts on work in progress for the series, " Everyday Scenes from Leaves and Branches of the Tree of Life".
Now that modeling of figures and other forms are completed, the threading process begins. Cotton threads and cotton cords are glued onto certain parts of figures such as clothes to form a pattern. After that each different parts are assembled onto large leaves and branch form of the wall pieces. As seen above, various parts are placed on the shelf waiting to be completed and for drying purpose. Afterward, as shown on the photo below, threading process continues as thread patterns are formed around the edge of leaves. Later, towards the last stage, this inner part of leaves will be decorated with pattern as well. These then will be coated with Liquitex varnishes for protection and finishing touch.
