Upon an encouragement and assistance from my friends, Helen and Mario, I have decided to open a blog. Now since I am sculptor and an art educator, I thought this would be a nice medium to present my art works and my experience in the field of education. I also have shown works of my former students here. I ts my way of keeping in touch with them. Besides I wanted them to use it as a reference, and a way to keep in touch with me and each other. In this sense, this blog may appear at times like homepage.
One other thing, after seeing my friends' blogs, it appears that a blog has lots of merit in communicating with people of similar interest. So with much trepidation I am thinking of expressing my thoughts and opinions on various matters as well as on art through this blog.
Hope I don't offend anyone... or worse, appear naive (laugh).
Now with these purposes in my mind, I am going to open this blog. Hope you enjoy it.
