Kane's New Home Page 「ケンの新しいサイト」

I have just recently opened a new site that contains images of my sculptures, installations, drawings and small paintings. Here is the address:

最近新しいホームページを作った。上のアドレスがそう。このサイトに見られるのは私が今まで制作した作品のやく半分。英語で書いてある。このサイトは私の作品と作品についての考えなどがメインだが、昔のゼミ生の作品・作業写真も多く、サイトの奥のほうに置いてある。これら昔の学生たちの作品に興味をもつかたAbout k. Ikeda;Teachingと進めばSeminar Exhibitions（ゼミ展）にたどりつく。

So far this site contains about half of my life' s work. It is written in English.

I have been looking for company that specializes in homepage building, but was unable to find one that suits my purpose until I saw one of my former students, Umeda Isao's homepage. I tried out the template of Isao's company, and it turned out to be quite user friend. Here I would like to provide address of Isao's homepage as well:

アメリカへ帰国してから自分の作品を紹介するサイトを作ることに興味があり、ホームページ専門の会社をさがしていたが、自分に合うのが見つからなかった。昔の私のゼミ生の梅田イサオ君のホームページを見て、彼の会社のホームページビルダを実験に使ったら、けっこう簡単で自分の都合に色々あった。それでこのジムドー会社のテンプレートを使ってサイトを作った。

Isao enjoys much traveling. He currently resides in China, and his recent paintings and drawings appear to show this Chinese cultural influence. Isao though tells me he plans to move to different locale/country later in the year.

イサオ君は海外がけっこう好きなようで、今は中国で働きながら、作品制作しているようだ。かれのサイトに見られる最近の作品の写真を見ると中国の伝統文化の影響がいいぐあいに少し彼の作品に現れているようだ。しかしイサオ君によると今年の１２ごろから又別の国に移住するようだ。彼の行動力にいつも驚かされる。
